Kenya is an equatorial nation with high elevations. Due in part to its year-round tea production, Kenya is one of the major tea producing countries of the world with production exceeding 240,000 tonnes a year.

Since the health benefits of tea is in the news lately, we should take a closer look at GABA tea, one of the "secrets" of the tea world. This little-known type of tea is specially processed to increase the levels of GABA (Gamma-aminobutyric acid) - an important amino acid responsible for inhibiting neuron activity in the brain.
